NOTICE OF INTENT TO DESIGNATE SINGLE SOURCE FOR ENVIRONMENTAL PRODUCTS GROUP (EPG)

Description of Intended Products or Services Provided:

OEM parts, services, services furnished by Elgin Sweeper Company and Vactor Manufacturing for maintaining county-owned street sweepers, catch basin cleaners and sewer pumping trucks.

Fleet will need access to OEM parts, services, and warranty to maintain Collier County owned Elgin and Vactor equipment. This class of equipment is primarily used to keep drains, sewer lines, spillways and roads clear of debris and flooding.

Elgin Sweeper Company and Vactor Manufacturing, Inc. are represented by a world-wide distribution network offering expert service and genuine parts for its and ELGIN street sweeping equipment and for VACTOR and TRUVAC lines of sewer, catch basin cleaning and vacuum excavation equipment. Environmental Products Group is the sole distributor for the state of Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee representing Elgin Sweeper Company and Vactor/TRUVAC Manufacturing, Inc. and is responsible for the sales, service, warranty and provider of genuine OEM parts for the Elgin and Vactor/TRUVAC Product lines. Both companies are subsidiaries of Federal Signal Corporation. See attached letter.
