NOTICE OF INTENT TO CONTRACT WITH A SINGLE SOURCE: The Federal Aviation Administration intends to award a single source contract to Technical Laboratory Systems, Inc.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center proposes the procurement, delivery, instructor training, and installation of six (6) Amatrol Air Conditioning/Heat Pump Troubleshooting Learning Systems. The acquisition will utilize single source procedures as Technical Laboratory Systems, Inc. is the only known source capable of meeting the FAA’s specific needs and requirements for a chiller.
In accordance with the FAA Acquisition Management System, AMS 3.2.2.4, the purpose of this announcement is to inform the industry of the basis of the FAA's decision to contract with a selected source when it is determined to be in the best interest of the FAA.
This announcement is for informational purposes only and not a Solicitation/Request for Proposal. This requirement will be awarded to Technical Laboratory Systems, Inc.and is not available for full and open competition. All questions pertaining to this announcement should be addressed in writing to Contract Specialist Joe.Oglesby@faa.gov no later than 5 pm (CT) on August 20, 2025.
