This synopsis is hereby issued in accordance with FAR Part 5.201. The purpose of this synopsis is to announce the Department of the Navy, Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific?s intent to award a Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order on a noncompetitive basis to Advanced Measurement Technology, Inc. (hereafter ?AMETEK ORTEK) Entity ID HHJACBKXAWN6, CAGE Code 23070, of 801 S Illinois AVE Oak Ridge, Tennessee 37830-9101 United StatesThe requirement is for the following assets meeting the noted specification and capability requirements: 0001: High Efficiency HPGe (Gamma and Neutron) Identifier up to 8MeV / PN: Detective-X-8-N        / QTY: 410002: Lithium-Ion Battery / PN: Detective-X-ACC-BAT / QTY: 410003: Dual Battery charger and calibrator / PN: Detective-X-ACC-DUAL-CHGR / QTY: 410004: Shipping / PN: FRT-ORT / QTY: 41; (Minimum Specification Requirements: REFER TO INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE ATTACHMENT)The Government intends to negotiate solely with Advanced Measurement Technology, Inc. under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 1901, as implemented by FAR subpart 13.5. Acquisition of Commercial Items under FAR Part 12 and Simplified Acquisitions Procedures under FAR Part 13.5 apply. However, all responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. A copy of the Request for Quote will be made available upon request. The applicable NAICS Code is 334519 ? Other Measuring And Controlling Device Manufacturing and the size standard is 600 employees. Please be advised the aforementioned information is anticipatory in nature and is not binding.This notice is not a request for competitive quotes; however, any responsible source believing that it can fulfill the requirement may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Interest parties must clearly show the firm?s ability to be responsive without compromising the quality, accuracy, and reliability of services provided.
