Notice Of Intent To Award Sole Source - Arctic SME Training

The 354th Contracting Squadron, Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska intends to award a sole-source purchase order to SKADI Group LLC for arctic SME training. The specifications for the training are as follows:

1. The Contractor shall provide four (4) cold weather / arctic subject matter experts with at least 5 years of experience in training SOF in expeditionary mobility in the Arctic during the winter. The contractor must be familiar with SOF sustainment in the Arctic environment and have at least 10 years-experience in teaching survival and mobility in the Arctic and must be able to provide didactic and hands on (practical) lessons on the stated SOFAM 25 learning objectives related to living in the cold (TLO1) or mobility in the cold (TLO2).

2. The contractor must provide at least 30 extreme cold weather tents with sufficient tent heating systems

3. All other requirements stated in the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS)

Please note that this is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements are invited to submit in writing complete information describing their ability to provide the product/services listed above. Deadline date for these submittals is 13 December 2024 at 12:00 PM Alaska Daylight Time (AKDT).

A determination by the Government to not compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement.
