Notice of Intent to Award – Purchase and Delivery of One (1) Leach 29 Yd. Rear Loader Garbage Truck

TOWNSHIP OF BRICK
NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD CONTRACTS UNDER
A NATIONAL COOPERATIVE PURCHASING AGREEMENT
Notice is hereby given that the Township of Brick, County of Ocean and State of New Jersey,
intends to participate in the Sourcewell Contract #110223-LEG Waste Collection Vehicles for the
purchase and delivery of one (1) Leach 29 Yd. Rear Loader Garbage Truck.
The term of this contract is December 22, 2023 through December 28, 2027. Information
regarding this contract may be found in the Office of Purchasing and Contracting, 401 Chambers
Bridge Road, Brick, NJ 08723 during regular business hours, as well as on the Sourcewell website
at: https://www.sourcewell-mn.gov/cooperative-purchasing/110223-leg.
It is the intent of the Township to make contract award on June 9, 2026 to Gran Turk Equipment,
1 Schylkill Parkway, Building B, Bridgeport, PA 19405 and Hunter Jersey Peterbilt, 524
Monmouth Road, Clarksburg, NJ 08510 pursuant to the proposal submitted in response to the
Sourcewell request for bids for Waste Collection Vehicles.
The contract periods shall commence upon the issuance of a purchase order and shall terminate
upon the delivery and acceptance of the vehicles.
The Township of Brick is permitted to join national cooperative purchasing agreements under the
authority of N.J.S.A. 52:34-6.2(b)(3).
Opportunity to comment will begin upon the publication of this notice and end ten (10) calendar
days thereafter.
