This is not a solicitation. This is a Synopsis in accordance with FAR 5.2 Synopsis of Proposed Contract Actions.
This procurement is restricted to those approved companies eligible for BPA-call orders under the Land Management Integrated Resources (LMIR) BPA, in accordance with established Invasive Plant Control and Forestry Invasive Plants SOWs and accompanying terms from the Land Management Integrated Resources BPA.

Project Title: Herbicide – North Zone – Eldorado National Forest - Georgetown & Pacific Ranger Districts
Project Description: The intent of this contract is to secure services for vegetation control treatment in and around young conifer regeneration stands. The specified treatment will be the foliar application of herbicide mixtures from backpack sprayers to target vegetation using a directed spray technique.
Work shall be performed only when the Contracting Officers Representative determines that target vegetation is in an appropriate stage of growth for the herbicide application to be effective. The Contracting Officer will determine the sequence in which each stand will be treated. Each stand shall be completed prior to starting work on the next stand.
More than one crew may be required in order to complete the work within the specified performance period. Each crew shall have 9-12 workers, plus one foreman and one mixer/loader. Each crew must have a dedicated batch tank. The number of crews and size of each crew may be stipulated by the Contracting Officer or Contracting Officers Representative.
In accordance with established Invasive Plant Control and Forestry Invasive Plants SOWs and accompanying terms from the Land Management Integrated Resources BPA.
Project Location: Eldorado National Forest - Georgetown & Pacific Ranger Districts
This BPA is composed of small and large businesses; the proposed Call Order will be set aside for small businesses. Any changes to the Call Order RFQ shall also be emailed to those companies listed on the BPA.
