Description
The National Institutes of Health (NIH), Clinical Center, intends to award a sole source purchase order to The George Washington University (GWU) for specialized epidemiology support services supporting the Clinical Epidemiology Section. The anticipated period of performance is from 07/15/2026 to 07/14/2028.

This acquisition is being conducted pursuant to FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), Only One Source Reasonably Available.
Sole Source Rationale
GWU is uniquely qualified to perform this requirement due to its specialized epidemiology expertise, multidisciplinary research infrastructure, and proximity to NIH. The proposed support includes advanced chronic disease modeling, study design, linkage of claims and clinical datasets, and sophisticated statistical methodologies that are not reasonably available from another source within the required timeframe.
