NOTICE OF INTENT - SOLE SOURCE STRATASYS INC.

PLEASE READ THIS NOTICE CAREFULLY AS IT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY NOTICE THAT WILL BE PUBLISHED. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to award a sole source, firm fixed-price contract to Stratasys, Inc. - 7665 Commerce Way. Eden Prairie, MN United States, 55344- for Stratasys Maintenance. This is in support of the ET Operations and Development Unit (EODU) in the Operational Technology Division (OTD) efforts to maintain annual preventative maintenance and occasional emergency maintenance services on current Stratasys 3D printers the FBI utilize. Stratasys, Inc. is the Sole-Source provider of all its warranty products deeming them the only source capable of fulfilling the FBIs need.

This notice will be distributed solely through the U.S. General Services Administration’s sam.gov website (www.sam.gov). Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the sam.gov website to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The North American Classification System Code is 811310, Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance

The FBI intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(b)(1). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement and/or quotation to the attention of: Jennifer Frederick email address: Jwfrederick@fbi.gov, which are due no later than Monday, August 25, 2025 (9:00am Eastern). Only emailed responses will be considered.

Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement or not. Telephone requests will not be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.

Vendors must be registered in SAM, effective July 29, 2012, to receive government contracts. The FBI uses a financial system that has a direct interface with SAM. Please ensure that your company’s SAM information is updated and accurate. This includes TIN, EFT, UEI, addresses and contact information. The EFT banking information on file in SAM will be what the FBI uses to process payment to your organization.
