Notice of Intent - KHC - Vitros XT3400 system and XT7600 integrated system medical lab supplies

The Navajo Area Indian Health Service, Kayenta Health Center (KHC) located in Kayenta, Arizona, intends to negotiate a non-competitive firm-fixed-price award to Ortho Clinical Diagnostics, Inc., UEI Number JG5JF2JQJ121, for XT7600 Integrated system that will be utilized for tests of Thyroid panels, Hepatitis testing, HIV testing, Hormone’s testing, and comprehensive panel. Period of Performance is from 01/01/2025 to 12/31/2025.

In accordance with FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(B), Ortho Clinical Diagnostics, Inc. is uniquely qualified to provide the required services for Vitros XT3400 system and XT7600 Integrated System, to ensure direct patient safety care for providing various testing at the facility.

This notice is not a solicitation or a request for offers. Any potential sources other than Ortho Clinical Diagnostics, Inc. may submit a capability statement via electronic mail to Jerlyn Begay, Supervisory Contract Specialist, at jerlyn.begay@ihs.gov by 1:00 PM EST on Thursday, November 14, 2024.

Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.

A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A solicitation will not be issued.
