Notice of Intended Single / Sole Source Purchase - Clinical Services with Command Counseling Center LLC

The description of services intended for purchase from a Single Source is posted in accordance with section 287.057(3)(c), Florida Statutes and will be posted for a minimum of 7 business days.

This is a Notice for a Sole Source Source designation for Clay County Board of County Commissioners.

Commodity or Service Required:

Command Counseling Center is a mental health organization that strives to reduce mental health decompensation in the First Responder Industries by providing knowledgeable counseling, training, critical incident support, clinical assessments, and consulting to first responders, emergency service departments, personnel, and their families. Command Counseling Center, LLC. meets the National Fire Protections Associations (NFPA) 1500 standards for providers.

Justification for Single/Sole Source Acquisition:

Command Counseling Center LLC is considered a sole source due to the specialized training of all therapists in the first responder culture and trauma exposure, its crisis response delivery methods, and program support processes.

Recommended Procurement Approach:

For the reason stated above, Clay County Purchasing Department intends to utilize the Sole Source Procurement method to contract with Command Counseling Center LLC for supplying the above.

To our knowledge Command Counseling Center LLC is currently the only Supplier available that provides the the specialized training of all therapists in the first responder culture and trauma exposure, its crisis response delivery methods, and program support processes.
