Notice of Intended Single/Sole Source Purchase - Stryker Basic Life Support & Advanced Life Support Electrocardiogram Devices, Chest Compression Systems, Power Pro & Power Load Stretcher Systems

The description of services intended for purchase from a Single Source is posted in accordance with section 287.057(3)(c), Florida Statutes and will be posted for a minimum of 7 business days.

This is a Notice for a Sole Source Source designation for Clay County Board of County Commissioners.

Commodity or Service Required:

Stryker Basic Life Support and Advanced Life Support Electrocardiogram Devices, Chest Compression Systems, and Power Pro and Power Load Stretcher Systems.

Justification for Single/Sole Source Acquisition:

Stryker’s Medical division certifies that it is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and/or sole source distributor of parts for Emergency Care products. All service parts are either manufactured by Stryker or purchased from outside suppliers who are contracted by Stryker and must abide by thorough testing and controls.

Recommended Procurement Approach:

For the reason stated above, Clay County Purchasing Department intends to utilize the Sole Source Procurement method to contract with Stryker Sales LLC for supplying the above.

To our knowledge Stryker Sales, LLC. is currently the only Supplier available that provides the following: Stryker Basic Life Support and Advanced Life Support Electrocardiogram Devices, Chest Compression Systems, and Power Pro and Power Load Stretcher Systems.
