Sealed bids will be accepted until 1:59 p.m., and not later, on Tuesday, August 19, 2025. Bid results will be read aloud at City Hall, in Lakewood, WA at 6000 Main St SW Lakewood, WA 98499, and tabulated immediately following the meeting. All Bidders Requests for Information (RFI) shall be received no later than 4pm, Wednesday, August 13, 2025. A final Addendum will be issued by Thursday, August 14, 2025. A non-mandatory Pre-Bid walkthrough will be held Thursday, August 8, 2025, at 10:00 am PST. Interested bidders shall meet at 6000 Main Street SW, Lakewood, WA.

This contract involves replacement of damaged exterior beams, new supports and refinishing exposed wood elements.  Project is located at Lakewood City Hall, 6000 Main Street SW, Lakewood, WA.  Alternate Bid 1 includes painting exterior of building.  Alternate Bid 2 includes sealing concrete block walls and replacing expansion joint material.  The City of Lakewood has an approved building permit.  Contractor should determine their need for additional permits for construction access such as a ROW permit. Bidders shall be qualified for the type of work proposed. A Bidder’s Construction Experience form is included in the Contract Provisions. This project is estimated at $577,000, not including Washington state sales tax.
