Notice of bid opportunity - Real Property Management System

The Washington State Department of Transportation (“WSDOT”) is issuing this Competitive Solicitation pursuant to RCW 39.26. Pursuant to this Competitive Solicitation, WSDOT intends to conduct a competitive procurement to award an Agency Contract for WSDOT to purchase a Real Property Management System/Database.
The real property database system for Real Estate Services (RES) lacks any significant information integration and the limited reporting it does provide is inaccurate and disjointed. This requires WSDOT to do enormous amounts of manual data entry and having to check, correct, and update all report information. The current solution no longer meets the needs of RES and WSDOT and there is a need to replace with a right-of-way software system that offers broader functionality.
The new system will provide an integrated approach to supporting the core requirements for RES, guiding the work processes through intuitive interfaces using pre-defined workflows that include remote access, maintaining the information in a database, and allowing effective integrations with other WSDOT systems are central to this new application.
