NOTICE TO BIDDERS

Notice is hereby given that sealed proposals will be received by the County of Hunterdon, on                           July 23, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. prevailing time in the Commissioners Meeting Room, Second Floor, 71 Main Street, Administration Bldg. #1, Flemington, New Jersey 08822 2900, at which time and place bids will be opened and read in public for

APPLICATION OF TRAFFIC STRIPES ON VARIOUS COUNTY AND MUNICIPAL ROADS
COUNTY OF HUNTERDON

BIDS WILL BE RECEIVED BY MAIL", (Hunterdon County will not be responsible for Bid Packages not arriving at the time and place designated), Specifications, Instructions to Bidders and Proposal Forms may be obtained via email. Email  HYPERLINK "mailto:rrule@co.hunterdon.nj.us" rrule@co.hunterdon.nj.us to receive a copy of the Bid Proposal. Bids will be on the Proposal Forms provided in the manner designated therein and addressed to the County of Hunterdon, Division of Purchasing, Second Floor, 71 Main Street, Administration Building #1, PO Box 2900, Flemington, New Jersey 088222900, and clearly marked on the outside "SEALED BID" 2026-12, APPLICATION OF TRAFFIC STRIPES. Each bid must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashiers Check or Bid Bond in the amount of 10% (Ten Percent) of the total bid, but in no case in excess of $20,000.00 payable to the County of Hunterdon.  

Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 and N.J.A.C. 17:27 et seq.

Hunterdon County acts as Lead Agency in a Cooperative Purchasing Agreement with two (2) registered member mentioned in the bid specifications. Under this system, the County of Hunterdon solicits competitive bids for certain items purchased by registered members. This is a Cooperative Pricing System as defined and regulated by N.J.A.C. 5:34-7.1 et seq. Interested citizens or vendors may obtain information regarding the manner of operation of this system by contacting the Hunterdon County Purchasing Agent. System Number 51-HCCPS, approved by the New Jersey Division of Local Government Services through October 15, 2029.

The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to reject all bids or to waive any minor informality in the Proposal received and to accept bids all in accordance with applicable law.
