NOTICE INVITING INFORMAL BIDS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Healdsburg invites informal bids, received via email or in person until the hour of 5:00 p.m., on the 30?? day of November, 2023, for:

BOLLARD REMOVALS PROJECT

Informal bids will be received via email at: contracts@healdsburg.gov , or in person at the City of Healdsburg, located at 401 Grove Street, CA, 95448. Bids submitted by mail or hand delivered shall be addressed to: City of Healdsburg, Attention Clay Thistle / BID FOR Bollards Removal Project, 401 Grove St, Healdsburg, CA 95448.

Responsive bidders must provide a cost proposal to complete the work shown and described on the attached Plans and Special Conditions, in accordance with the City Specific Provisions and Standards and PO General Conditions. A purchase order will be executed with the awarded Contractor providing the lowest responsive bid should the City elect to proceed with the work.

The Work in general consists of safety improvements at various locations along the Foss Creek Pathway, a multi-use pedestrian and bicycle path located in Healdsburg, CA. The improvements will include removal of 23 safety bollards, asphalt pavement restoration, painting bollards, installing reflective tape, and installing new signage and striping.

A mandatory on-site pre-bid meeting is scheduled for this project, on Thursday, November 16, 2023, at 10:00am. The pre-bid meeting will initially begin at the intersection of Matheson Street and Vine Street. Contractors must attend the MANDATORY pre-bid meeting for their bid to be considered.

In accordance with California Public Contract Code Section 3300, a valid class A California contractor’s license is required to bid on the project.

The Engineers Estimate is $54,288.30.
