Notice- Invitation for Bids- Osgood Street/Route 125 Improvements
The Town of North Andover invites sealed bids for the transportation improvement project at the
intersection of Osgood Street and Great Pond Road, in accordance with the Invitation for Bids
(IFB). The complete IFB will be available at bidnetdirect.com/massachusetts/northandoverma on
April 22, 2026. All bids must be submitted electronically through
bidnetdirect.com/massachusetts/northandoverma no later than 2:00PM on May 12, 2026 to be
considered.
The purpose of this project is to improve pedestrian access at the intersection of Osgood Street
and Great Pond Road by providing new sidewalk and installing signalized crosswalks on all
approaches to the signal. These improvements include geometric modifications, granite curb,
HMA sidewalk, cement concrete PCRs, full depth pavement, pavement milling/overlay, utility
system adjustments, drainage system modifications including bioretention area, traffic signal
modifications, signs, pavement markings and other incidental items.
MassDOT prequalification of contractors with the class of work as Highway- Construction, for
the project with an estimated value of $1,999,930.23 will be required. Prevailing wage is
required.
