Description


Sealed bids will be received by the Hart County Water and Sewer Authority, Hart County, Georgia (OWNER), for furnishing all materials, labor, tools, equipment, and any other miscellaneous items necessary for the construction of the Northeast Water System Expansion Phase I in Hart County, Georgia.

Bids will be received at Hart County Water & Sewer Authority, 200 Arthur Street, Hartwell, GA 30643 until 12:00 noon on June 26, 2025.

This Project shall consist of two (2) contracts

Contract #1 (Materials) consists of, but is not limited to the following major elements:

See Section 00300 of specifications for detailed materials breakdown.

Contract #2 (Construction) consists of, but is not limited to the following major elements:

Construction of approximately 6,305 L.F. of 12-inch PVC waterline 23,414 L.F. of 8-inch PVC waterline, 12,086 L.F. of 6-inch PVC waterline, 1,826 L.F. of 2-inch PVC waterline, 120 L.F. of 12-inch freebore, 695 L.F. of 8-inch freebore, 667 L.F. of 6-inch freebore, 90 L.F. of 16-inch steel casing with 8-inch DIP jack and bore, 41 each fire hydrant assemblies, (4) 12-inch gate valves, (24) 8-inch gate valves, (23) 6-inch gate valves, (3) 2¿ Line termination with flush hydrant assembly, approximately 200 service connections and related appurtenances.

Contract #1 (Material) and Contract #2 (Construction) will be awarded separately as two (2) contracts.

Time of completion for all work associated with this project shall be three hundred (300) consecutive calendar days from the date of a written ¿Notice to Proceed¿ from OWNER.

Copies of Contract Documents, Specifications, and Construction Drawings may be obtained at the office of Engineering Management, Inc., 303 Swanson Drive, Lawrenceville, Georgia 30043, upon payment of a non-refundable cost of $250.00(hard copies). Checks shall be made payable to Engineering Management, Inc.
