North Shore Ninth Grade Center Renovations

Galena Park Independent School District (GPISD) is requesting Competitive Sealed Proposals (CSP 25-400 ) for North Shore Ninth Grade Center Renovations (GPISD Project L223.003.1-2024 ) . Proposals are due on Thursday, April 24, 2025 at 2:00PM, after which proposals will be opened publicly and read aloud at the GPISD Administration Building. Submissions must be delivered to the Facilities Planning & Construction Department in the GPISD Administration Building, 14705 Woodforest Blvd., Houston, TX 77015, in a sealed envelope by the close date and time stated in this bid event. A Proposal Security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the proposal amount is required.

The scope of work includes but is not limited to, the window and exterior door replacement and exterior wall repairs for the existing Building 1. The existing windows are inefficient single pane windows with widespread reported leaking. Wall repairs are primarily to support the window replacements, but also to replace failing stone masonry veneer with EIFS and new masonry.

A pre-proposal conference will be held at the GPISD Administration Building, on April 11, 2024 at 10:00AM Attendance is highly recommended.

Proposal Documents will be available on Sunday, March 30, 2025 on the district website, and on the GPISD eBid system https://galenaparkisd.ionwave.net.

GPISD reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, the right to negotiate with any proposers after submission of proposals, and at its discretion, may waive any formalities or minor irregularities regarding the proposals.
