North Outfall Sewer (NOS) Rehabilitation Unit 33 - Magnolia Boulevard and Woodman Avenue

Rehabilitation of approximately 2,232 ft of 51-in & 3,663 ft of 39-in clay tile-lined reinforced concrete semi-elliptical pipe with reinforced polymer mortar pipe (RPMP) by sliplining, a total of 5,895 linear ft. The existing alignment of the sewer begins upstream near the intersection of Magnolia Blvd & Costello Ave, proceeds E along Magnolia Blvd toward Woodman Ave, turns S along Woodman Ave, crosses under the 101 Fwy overpass, & flows to its terminus near Woodman Ave & Valleyheart Dr N.

♦ Construct 7 access pits to aid in cleaning & lining the NOS.

♦ Remove & replace
♦♦ 3 MHs
♦♦ 1 MH w/ new transition structure
♦ Retrofit & rehab 1 MH
♦ Construct 1 new MH
♦ Reconnect 8 existing lateral sewers.
♦ Install 2,784 LF of five 8-inch-diameter VCP local sewers
♦ Reconnect 42 house connections to the new local sewers & construct trap house connections.
♦ Also:
♦♦ CCTV Laser & sonar profiling, sewer cleaning, sewer debris removal & disposal, odor control, sewer bypassing, traffic control, monitoring of existing structures & community impact mitigation
