806 North H Street - Surplus Property

The City of Oskaloosa is accepting sealed bids for the property located at 806 North H Street until 12:00 p.m. (noon) on Monday, June 30,, 2025.

This property in the R-2 (residential) zoning district includes a dilapidated 972 sq. ft. single-story home and a 336 sq. ft. garage, and sits on a 60' x 142' lot. The minimum bid price is $1,000, and the City intends for all structures to be demolished and the lot to be used for new home construction.

Sealed bids must be submitted to the City Clerk’s Office at City Hall at 220 South Market Street, Oskaloosa, IA 52577. Bids will be opened at 12:00 pm on June 30, with a recommendation presented to City Council on Monday, July 7, 2025.  Each bid must include a proposed plan for reconstruction and the winning bid must meet all applicable city code requirements.
