Description:

Gaston County, NC is requesting sealed bids for North Belmont Park Water Supply project. The purpose of this project is to extend approximately 3,841 linear feet of 10-inch PC 350 DIP waterline along Hickory Grove Road (SR 2000) from Lane Road (SR 2085) to Old Hickory Grove Road (SR 2050) and approximately 4,860 linear feet of 10-inch PC 350 DIP waterline to 2043 Old Hickory Grove Road and approximately 942 LF of 10-inch PC 350 DIP waterline along the front of the park on Hickory Grove Road (SR 2000). This project also includes forty five 3/4" service taps for properties wishing to connect to the waterline, as well as, a new 2” service line to the N Belmont Park; associated appurtenances, valves, fittings; and erosion and sediment control measures.

The project will be financed with American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (SLFRF).

Qualifications:

Bidders must have a license to work as a contractor in the State of North Carolina, as set forth under Article 1 Chapter 87 of the North Carolina General Statutes. Subject to the provisions of the State of North Carolina Contractor's Licensing Law, it will be necessary for the contractor to place their contractor's license number on the envelope containing their bid.
