Bid Description:
Through this Request for Proposal (RFP) the Vermont Agency of Human Services, Department of Vermont Health Access is seeking proposals to establish one or more contracts with a Non Emergency Medical Transportation (“NEMT”) broker to connect Vermont Medicaid members needing transportation to medical appointments. This work will involve both the arrangement of and reimbursement for transportation of Vermont Medicaid eligible members to and from medically necessary, Vermont Medicaid- billable appointments. Such transportation is known as Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT).

The primary goal of the Vermont Medicaid NEMT program is to provide cost-effective transportation to eligible Medicaid members in the most efficient and medically appropriate method necessary in line with state and federal requirements
