NON-DESTRUCTIVE TESTING - CONTINUING SERVICES

As part of maintaining the infrastructure, the District is seeking the assistance of an experienced contractor to provide non-destructive testing for natural gas pipeline, any testing for connection points for chilled water, hot water, etc., and to perform emergency and routine nondestructive testing on District-owned pipeline on an as-needed basis for a three-year continuing contract term.

Typical items of non-destructive testing may include, but are not limited to:

•             Radiography Testing (RT)

NOTE: Please specify within your proposal which method of radiography is being used.

•             Ultrasound Thickness Inspections (UT)

•             Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT)

•             Magnetic Particle (MT)

•             Eddy Current Testing (ET)

•             Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)
