NOBH - Cosmetology/Barber Services

The contractor is required to be trained and maintain a valid beautician/barber license issued by the State of Ohio. It is essential that the contractor keeps all licenses up to date throughout the duration of the contract. The contractor must adhere to employee health standards and deliver services in accordance with professional cosmetology practices, including safety, effectiveness, and sanitation standards. Working hours will be established by the contractor in coordination with the Clinical Services Director. The contractor is responsible for providing all necessary equipment and supplies to deliver services and must ensure accurate tracking and accountability of these items.

The services offered will include:
- Men’s and Women’s Haircuts
- Shampoo and Conditioning
- Shampoo/Condition/Cut
- Beard Trims

Additionally, the contractor may provide extra services that can be purchased by individual patients. The contractor is required to include a comprehensive list of these additional services along with their associated prices in their response.

1. 1. OhioMHAS’s initial review of all proposals for timely submission;
2. 2. An evaluation committee review of the proposals for defects and scoring;
3. 3. OhioMHAS’s request for more information (clarifications, interviews, presentations, and/or demonstrations); and, 4. Negotiations or best offer requests.
