Description
Brand Name: "NOAA Ship NANCY FOSTER requires replacement of its Marine Sanitation Device (MSD). Due to space limitations and safety reasons, the new device is required to utilize an electro-oxidation process to eliminate the need to store hazardous materials. The OMNIPURE™ MODEL 12MC is what is currently used on the ship. Procuring a different make/model would require additional engineering and modifications to the ship that would add additional cost to the overall MSD renewal as well as require storage of additional HazMat.
As the OEM of the ship’s current MSD, OmniPure possesses unique knowledge of the existing MSD and offers devices that possess the required electro-oxidation process. While similar devices utilizing a similar process are available on the market, none utilize the required in line electro-oxidation process. Similar units have additional sub-systems that produce Sodium Hypochlorite as a secondary process and then inject into the effluent. This requires additional space requirements and a storage tank."

Procure new Marine Sanitation Device per attached specification.
