Solicitation Description:
The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) is seeking to acquire four (4) Nilfisk VHB436 vacuum units and the following accessories: VHB436 battery powered vacuum (with 50mm Kit), carbon fiber kit, 70-40mm inlet reducer, 70mm inlet coupler, telescopic hose, cyclone filter protector, PTFE filter, 70mm hose, 38mm hose, and a 10ft extension wand. This acquisition will improve the cleanliness of WMATA facilities and stations, ensuring customer safety through effective floor and platform washing, dirt and debris vacuuming, and liquid extraction. These Nilfisk battery-powered industrial vacuums are also capable of cleaning parapet walls and high-dusting areas, effectively collecting both sizable debris and dust at WMATA stations, as indicated by our research. The delivery of all products in fully operational condition, free from internal or external damage, is required by June 18, 2025. The vendor must provide comprehensive manufacturing warranties for all items.
