Description
Through this Request for Proposals (“RFP”), the City of Merritt (the “City”) invites Proposals from suitability qualified and experienced companies, interested in performing works to repair and replace the mechanical mezzanine space the City’s Nicola Valley Aquatic Centre.

Installation of protective hoarding for the equipment remaining in-place below the selective demolition. Selective demolition and removal of existing reinforced concrete slab, steel decking and timber post and beam shoring to extents indicated by the Structural Drawings. Installation of structural steel, steel decking and reinforced concrete slab. Drainage system modifications, including installation of floor drains. Preparation for and painting of the finished soffit, including existing steel beams. Installation of concrete housekeeping slabs per existing layouts and sizes.
- Location: The Place of the Work is the Nicola Valley Aquatic Centre, located at 2040 Mamette Avenue, Merritt, BC, as shown on the Drawings.
- Budget: The City is not disclosing a budget for this Work, but has completed internal cost estimates and has approved budget funds. Respondents are to submit pricing based on the details provided in this RFP.
