Project Description: The purpose of this Request for Proposal (“RFP”) is to solicit sealed proposals to establish contracts for the provision of Next Generation 9-1-1 Core Services (“NGCS”) and Emergency Services IP Network (“ESInet”) solutions. The objective is to ensure that public safety answering points (“PSAPs”) across the Commonwealth of Virginia, the State of Maryland, the District of Columbia and other 911 Authorities authorized to use this procurement process have access to reliable, resilient, and standards-compliant Next Generation 9-1-1 (“NG9-1-1”) services.
