The NGZR is support equipment that is critical to the maintenance of low observable (LO) radio frequency (RF) signature performance of the aircraft. The NGZR will provide Air Force Global Strike Command with continued Tier II RF diagnostic capability.

These potential agreements will likewise not be contracts under the purview of the FAR. FAR rules may influence but will not govern this action.
The Government reserves the right to award the instrument best suited to the nature of the prototype project proposed. A mix of award types may be used throughout the life of the NGZR program; however, it is anticipated that awards made as a result of this solicitation will be Firm-Fixed Price.
