Bids for the construction of Plum Street Bridge Rehabilitation Design will be received at the office of City of Newton located at 201 E. 6th St., Newton, KS 67114 until November 03, 2026, at 1:30 PM local time. At that time the Bids will be publicly opened and read.

Description of Project:

Bridge repairs consisting of approximately 245 SF of Concrete Surface Repair, 10 LF of Epoxy Resin Crack Repair, and 46 SY of Substructure Waterproofing Membrane in the underside of the slab, and surface of the substructure units of the Plum Street bridge over Slate Creek in Newton, KS.

Add alternate work to the timber bridge over Sand Creek at the Sand Creek Station Golf Course.
