Newborn Screening Computer Software Service, Maintenance, and Support – Revvity Health Sciences, Inc. (formerly Oz Systems)

MNIT, on behalf of MDH, intends to renew an existing agreement with Revvity Health Sciences, Inc. (formerly Oz Systems) (hereinafter “Revvity”), for up to twenty-four months. The agreement provides software service, maintenance, and support related to the newborn screening computer software system used by the Public Health Laboratory (PHL), which is part of MDH. PHL uses the system for direct results reporting of newborn hearing screening and critical congenital heart defects.

The required maintenance, support, updates, and patches for the system are all proprietary and may only be purchased from Revvity. Moreover, only Revvity -certified technicians may complete work on the system. None of these products or services can be obtained through a third-party vendor. Due to the PHL’s high reliance on this system, MDH has determined that this is the only system that can meet the requirements of the PHL at this time. For these reasons, MDH has determined that this is a single source purchase
