New Ventana Discovery Ultra Tissue Processor

Oregon State University intends to contract for the provision of a new Ventana Discovery Ultra Tissue Processor from Roche Diagnostics as a sole source because of the contractor being the single provider of the goods and/or services. The Tissue Processor will be used for immunohistochemistry (IHC) testing for chronic wasting disease (CWD) in wild and captive cervids for the State of Oregon. The Ventana Discovery Ultra is the only instrument that is validated and approved by the USDA for CWD, IHC testing in cervids. Roche Diagnostics is the only manufacturer and distributer for a new unit. An entity may appeal this determination in accordance with OSU Standard 03-010. Section 5.17 no later than the closing date indicated on the website.
