The Metropolitan Council (Council) is soliciting proposals for the following services: annual Ultrasonic
Rail Testing to identify internal rail defects that represent a significant risk of rail failure. The anticipated
schedule for this procurement is as follows:
Issue Date September 9, 2026
Pre-Proposal Meeting September 24, 2026, at 10:00 AM CDT
Questions Due September 29, 2026, at 2:00 PM CDT
Proposal Due Date October 13, 2026, at 4:00 PM CDT
Award Date December 2026
