Trainings and One-on-One Business Consultation Services

The Metropolitan Council is soliciting proposals from qualified vendors to provide trainings and one-on-
one businesses consultation services for Metropolitan Council Underutilized Businesses (MCUBs) in the
topics of: Navigating Government Contracting Process, Estimate Bids, Responding to a Request for
Proposal, Strategic Planning, Developing Business Plan, Project Management, Construction
Management, Marketing Business, Cash Flow Management and One-on-One Business Consultation to
enhance MCUBs business capabilities to maximize their participation for Council opportunities. The
Council intends to award one (1) contract, and the services will be provided over a four-year period.
The anticipated schedule for this procurement is as follows:
RFP Issue Date September 14, 2026
Pre-Proposal Meeting September 29, 2026, at 10:00 AM CST
Questions Due October 2, 2026, at 10:00 AM CST
Proposals Due October 22, 2026, at 5:00 PM CST
Award November/December 2026
For the purposes of this contract, this solicitation has been designated for award to a Metropolitan
Council Underutilized Business (MCUB) under the Council's MCUB Select program. Proposal submittals
are only accepted from vendors who are MCUBs will be considered. The MCUB Directory can be found
