Notice of Request for Proposals (RFP) for
On-Call Accounting and Auditing Services
Contract Number 26P203
The Metropolitan Council is soliciting proposals from qualified vendors to provide on-call accounting
and auditing services. The scope of work includes (but not limited to) on-call consulting services for:
tax preparation and calculation (payables, purchase card, and payroll), financial statement
preparation for audited reports, and audit services. The Council intends to award one (1) contract,
and the services will be provided over a five-year period.
The anticipated schedule for this procurement is as follows:
RFP Issue Date August 18, 2026
Pre-Proposal Meeting August 26, 2026, at 1:00 PM CST
Questions Due September 4, 2026, at 10:00 AM CST
Proposals Due October 14, 2026, at 5:00 PM CST
Award November 2026
For the purposes of this contract, there are no Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE), or
Metropolitan Council Underutilized Business (MCUB) goals set for this project. However, the Council
strives to ensure equitable participation of minority, women and underutilized businesses in projects
and procurements, and strongly encourages the inclusion of small businesses in this contract. DBE
