Locksmith Services
Contract Number 26P047
The Metropolitan Council (Council) is soliciting proposals for the following services: Medeco authorized
and factory trained locksmith support services for Metro Transit Police Department: Asset Protection, on
a 24/7 basis. Maintenance and emergency services include but are not limited to door security hardware,
pinning cores, cutting keys, and general door repair including mechanical/electronic hardware for all
Metro Transit locations. The anticipated schedule for this procurement is as follows:
RFP Issue Date June 29, 2026
Pre-Proposal Meeting July 8, 2026, at 2:00 PM CDT
Questions Due July 14, 2026, at 5:00 PM CDT
Proposals Due July 30, 2026, at 5:00 PM CDT
Award December 2026
