Summary

The City of Pembroke Pines is seeking bids from qualified firms, hereinafter referred to as the Contractor, to provide the requested Cisco infrastructure hardware for the City of Pembroke Pines , in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications contained in this solicitation. New hardware will be replacing aged and end of life (EOL) hardware at the City’s Academic Village Charter School campus.

  • Cisco Catalyst 9164I AP wireless access point

The Cisco Catalyst 9164I Access Point is a tri-band, enterprise-class Wi-Fi 6E device designed to support mission-critical deployments with enhanced performance and flexibility. It operates across the 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and the newly available 6 GHz bands, providing increased capacity, reduced interference, and higher throughput for modern wireless networks.

  • Cisco Catalyst C9200L-48P-4X-A edge switch (both single and double battery)

These switches connect end-user local area networks (LANs) to Internet service provider (ISP) networks. Cisco Catalyst C9200L-48P-4X-A series switches provide 48 ports, full PoE+, 4x10G uplink Switch, with Network Advantage software.

Additional:

  • All installations will be handled internally.
  • This solicitation is for a one-time parts purchase and continuing maintenance services for those parts. The resulting contract for maintenance services will be for a three (3) year period, as of July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2028.
