Nelson Drive Channel Project

The Town of Fountain Hills (the “Town”) is issuing this Invitation for Bid (this “IFB”) from qualified, licensed firms (“Vendors”) as more particularly described in the Scope of Work . In accordance with the Town’s Procurement Code, the Town will accept sealed bids for the Goods/Services specified in the Scope of Work .

The contractor shall re-define an existing trapezoidal, earthen drainage channel approximately 330 feet in length, located within an existing 30-foot-wide drainage easement between 10417 and 10229 Nelson Drive. The channel will be reconstructed with a 6-foot wide bottom, centered within the easement, and 2:1 side slopes (horizontal to vertical). Rip rap will be placed along the side slopes for erosion protection using material provided by the Town of Fountain Hills. A permanent maintenance access road will also be constructed from Nelson Drive to the channel, just south of the alignment, to allow for routine inspection and maintenance access.
