Sealed bids will be received by the DeSoto Parish School Board at 399 Jenkins Street, Mansfield, Louisiana 71052 for Job# SBB 2420.00 NORTH DESOTO CAMPUS ADDITIONS , Mansfield, Louisiana, until 1:00 P.M., Thursday, March 27, 2025, at which time and place bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.

A non-mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held at 9:00 A.M. on Monday , March 10, 2025, at the North Desoto Lower Elementary Library, 2623 Highway 171, Stonewall, LA 71078.

Contractors may elect to submit an electronic bid: https://www.desotopsb.com/page/department-of-finance . The bid security required by this solicitation is to be submitted along with their bid.

All bids must be accompanied by a bid security equal to five percent (5%) of the base bid and all additive alternates and must be in the form of a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond.  The Successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond and a payment bond, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract amount.

Bids shall be accepted from Contractors who are licensed under LA. R.S. 37:2150-2192 for the classification of Building Construction .

No bid may be withdrawn for a period of forty-five (45) days after the date for receipt of bids. Bidders must meet requirements of the State of Louisiana Contractor's Licensing Law R.S. 37:2151-2163.

Preference is hereby given to materials, supplies and provisions, produced, manufactured or grown in Louisiana, quality being equal to articles offered by competitors outside of the State. Preference provided by R.S. 38:225 will be used if applicable.

The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids which deviate from the project plans and specifications.
