INVITATION FOR BIDS: The New Bedford Housing Authority (NBHA), the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids from qualified DCAMM certified contractors to provide CHP CO-GEN UNIT PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE, MONITORING AND EXTENDED WARRANTY SERVICES (NBHA-26-109) to three (3) existing co-generation (CO-GEN) combined heat and power (CHP). Bid Documents are available from the NBHA Procurement Office 128 Union Street 4TH Floor New Bedford MA 02740. Bidders may obtain a set of Bid Documents by e-mailing their contact information to the Procurement Agent at; Kevin.Rego@nbha-ma.org. Sealed bids will be accepted, at the NBHA Procurement Office 128 Union Street 4TH Floor New Bedford MA 02740, until 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 09, 2026 at which time and place said bids will be opened, witnessed and the results distributed via e-mail thereafter. If at the advertised time scheduled for the bid opening the NBHA Procurement Office is closed due to uncontrolled events such as fire, snow, ice, wind or building evacuation, then the bid opening will be postponed until 2:00 p.m. on the next regularly scheduled business day and all bids will be accepted until that day and time. The NBHA reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in any or all bids, or to reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, if it be in the public interest to do so. In accordance with Section 3 of the HUD act of 1968, as amended, opportunity for employment and contracting to the greatest extent feasible shall be given to Section 3 eligible residents and businesses.
