The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) is pleased to announce its 2025 Small Business Industry Day (SBID) to be hosted, 8 – 9 January 2025 from 8:00a.m. EST to 4:00p.m. EST. This year’s theme is “Expanding Naval Capabilities with Agile Small Business Solutions”.

BACKGROUND: NAVSEA is the largest of the Navy's five system commands. With annual contract obligations over $52 billion, NAVSEA accounts for one quarter of the Navy's procurement spend. The NAVSEA SBID will provide a targeted forum for interested small businesses to hear from senior Navy leadership, Program Executive Offices (PEO's) and Directorates about various NAVSEA programs, facilitating an enhanced understanding of NAVSEA’s programs and strategic direction and providing for prime and subcontracting opportunities for small businesses.

RESOURCES: The NAVSEA SBID will expand over two days. Day 1 will provide a targeted forum for interested small businesses to hear from senior Navy leadership, PEO's and Directorates on various NAVSEA programs. The intent of these briefings is to create an enhanced understanding of NAVSEA’s programs and the strategic direction that provide prime and subcontracting opportunities for small businesses. Day 2 consists of a Small Business Resource Fair to include engagement with PEOs/Directorates, Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA), Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA), VA APEX Accelerator and Large Primes for subcontracting opportunities.

Forum presentations will be available after the event on the NAVSEA website under the Business Partnership section at https://www.navsea.navy.mil/Business-Partnerships/Small-Business-Office/. Please note that this website also provides other resources relevant to small businesses that include an updated version of NAVSEA’s Long Range Acquisition Estimate (LRAE).

Due to limited space only 1 attendee per small business will be granted. Povide the company name and socio-economic status and primary industry.

Tickets are not transferrable and will be required in order to gain access to the facility and the event.

2. Parking will not be provided.


3. Attendance is limited and will only be available through the above registration site on a first-come, first-serve basis. Early registration is required. Walk-on guests will NOT be granted access to the event.
