The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Jacksonville District, intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) to award a single firm fixed-price contract. BASE: Work consists of maintenance dredging the locations to required depths indicated in the table below and on the drawings. The placement of the dredged material will be at Disposal Area Crab Island (D/A-C) as indicated on the drawings and as directed by the Contracting Officer. Additional Base work also includes bird monitoring and standby time. Bids are due on Wednesday, 02 April 2025 at 1:00 PM, EDT and Bid Opening will be held at 2:00 PM, EDT. A site visit will be held on Tuesday, 25 February 2025 at 10:00 AM, EST. NAICS CODE: 237990, Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction Small Business Size Standard is $37 million Magnitude of Construction is between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000. The anticipated period of performance for this project is 300 calendar days after Notice to Proceed (NTP). The period of performance is inclusive of 60 calendar days to commence work, and will be divided into base work and three options as follows: Base (including commencement and demobilization): 235 calendar days. Option A: 5 calendar days. Option B: 30 calendar days. Option C: 30 calendar days. THIS REQUIREMENT HAS BEEN SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS.
