Natural Gas System Expansion (Hwy 64 Divert Project)

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR

NATURAL GAS SYSTEM EXPANSION

Pursuant to Section 143-129 of the General Statutes of North Carolina, sealed proposals for the work of the expansion of the municipal gas system of the City of Lexington, North Carolina, will be received on or before 11:00 o'clock A.M. local time on June 10, 2025, in the Office of the Purchasing Officer at Lexington City Hall, 28 W. Center Street, Lexington, NC 27292.
The project will consist of installing approximately 840 feet of 8" steel pipe as described in the Contract Documents.

A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held on June 4, 2025, at 10:00 o’clock A.M. local time at the City of Lexington Utility Operations Center, 425 Carolina Avenue, Lexington, NC 27292.

Each proposal must be accompanied by a deposit equal to five (5%) percent of the net price bid.
