Natural Gas Inspection Services

Project Description: NPU seeks proposals from qualified companies to provide natural gas construction inspection services for all phases of natural gas distribution operations. NPU currently provides natural gas to approximately 9,850 customers in Norwich and small sections of Preston and Bozrah through four primary pressure classes ranging from 21 inwc MAOP to 199 psi MAOP. Inspectors will be required to inspect and document the work of internal and contractor crews performing maintenance, replacement and/or new construction projects involving a variety of pipe materials and functions.
