This is not a request for quotes; this is for information and planning purposes only! This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. All responses submitted regarding this announcement is voluntary and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government.
Kadena Air Base anticipates a requirement that is categorized as code 221210 – Natural Gas Distribution under the North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) and 6830 – Gases: Compressed and Liquefied under the Product Service Code system.
Requirement: Natural Gas Supply. The Contractor shall provide natural gas, twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week, to the Central Utility Plant, Bldg. #961 and near Bldg 5717 at Camp Foster. The Contractor shall conduct periodic and emergency inspections on the US Government-owned gas line from the Camp Foster property boundary to the on-base facility connection point in accordance with Japanese Gas Business Act. As for any matters that are not addressed by the Technical Description (TD), the Government and the Contractor shall have mutual consultation based on the "Supply Rules” and the “General Supply Provisions" of the local Gas Retailer.
