National Register of Historic Places Consultant

The consultant will prepare a National Register of Historic Places Registration form for the East 4 th Street Historic District in Reno, Nevada.

The consultant will work with City of Reno staff to generate community awareness for the historic district and address any objections to listing in the National Register in order to earn wide support for the nomination from the private property owners within the proposed district boundary.

This project is funded by a Historic Preservation Fund Subgrant through the State Historic Preservation Office.  The total budget for this project is $30,000.
