NATIONAL EMISSION STANDARDS for HAZARDOUS AIR POLUTENTS (NESHAP) ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT FOR 4413-17-AK NEWTOK 36 HOME ACQUISITION PROJECT

Project Description: This RFP is being solicited by NVC. Please review all contract and submittal information in the RFP document. Do not submit proposals or questions via Bonfire. Newtok Village seeks qualified individuals and/or organizations to provide professional asbestos sampling and laboratory evaluation for 36 residential structures located in the Newtok Subdivision in the community of Newtok, Alaska as part of NVC’s 4413-17-AK Newtok Home Acquisition Project. NVC is seeking an all-inclusive time and material proposal. Costs are not to exceed $150,000. Proposals will be reviewed by a committee appointed by NVC. Specifically, the Proposer is requested to undertake National Emissions Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAP) environmental assessments of each identified structure and determine which, if any, contain regulated asbestos containing materials (R)ACMs in amount equal to or greater than 1 percent using Polarized Light Microscopy.
