Answer #10: LAMINATE FINISH WITH SOLID SURFACE TOP, Installation FSO will pick once the contract is awarded.

Question #11: Item #6 – Custom fabricated cabinet – Are there dimensions available for this item? (LxWxH)

Answer #11: APPROX 144" X 36" X 35"H

Question #12: Item #6 – Custom fabricated cabinet – Is this item to be a stainless steel cabinet with a stainless steel top? Or is this item to have a laminate finish exterior?

Answer #12: LAMINATE FINISH WITH SOLID SURFACE TOP

Question #13: Item #6 – Custom fabricated cabinet – The scope of work Specific Requirements & Features indicates this item is to have a sneeze guard, however this is not indicated on the Technical Exhibit. Please clarify.

--End of Amendment 0002--

AMENDMENT 0001- DATED 27 JULY 2026

The purpose of amendment 0001 is to answer contractors’ questions and extend the solicitation closing date to July 29, 2026, 11:00 AM (PDT). All offerors must acknowledge amendment 0001.

Question #1: Will installation of equipment be required at two different facilities?

Answer #1: No. This requirement is specifically for the SUBASE galley.

Question #2: For the Structural Concepts B37R refrigerated self-service cases, please confirm the required electrical service: 208V single-phase, 120V single-phase, or another configuration.

Answer #2: The Statement of Work does not specify the electrical voltage for the B37R refrigerated cases. While it lists requirements for other items, such as 208-240V for the B3632H heated merchandiser and 110-120V for the B37D non-refrigerated case, this detail is omitted for the B37R model.

Given this omission, we can proceed with the assumption that a standard, energy-efficient electrical configuration (such as 120V single-phase) is acceptable, provided the equipment fully complies with all performance and food safety standards for cold food preservation as outlined in the SOW.

Question #3: Please confirm whether the B37R refrigerated cases must be self-contained or remote-refrigeration models.

Answer #3: The B37R cases are required to be self-contained models. The equipment list specifies, "Breeze self-contained refrigeration with R290 Hydrocarbon refrigerant."

Question #4: Are floor drains or other condensate drainage connections available at the intended installation locations? If not, should offerors provide units with integral evaporator pans and no field drain connection?

Answer #4: The Statement of Work does not specify the availability of floor drains or outline requirements for condensate drainage. Given that the project's scope focuses on replacing existing equipment with minimal facility alterations, it is prudent to assume that new construction or plumbing work is not intended.

Therefore, to align with a self-supporting installation, offerors should provide units equipped with integral condensate evaporator pans that do not require a field drain connection. This approach ensures the equipment is fully self-contained and avoids the need for facility modifications not covered in the SOW.

Question #5: For the refrigerated open-air cases, does the Government require a standard night curtain, a lockable night curtain, or no night curtain?

Answer #5: The Government requires a lockable night curtain. The specifications for the B37R refrigerated case and the B37D non-refrigerated case both list a "roll-down locking security cover."

Question #6: Does the Government require the Structural Concepts Clean Sweep automatic condenser-cleaning option, or may it be separately priced as an optional enhancement?

Answer #6: The Statement of Work does not require the Structural Concepts "Clean Sweep" automatic condenser-cleaning option. This feature is not mentioned in the specific requirements for the B37R refrigerated cases and is not mandatory. Offerors may separately list and price this feature as an optional enhancement; however, optional enhancements will not be evaluated for the purposes of determining technical acceptability or the base award.

Question #7: Please confirm the required plug/receptacle or hardwired connection type for each powered unit, including the B3632H heated merchandisers and B37R refrigerated cases.

Answer #7: Confirmed through NAVFAC by the installation FSO

The solicitation closing date is extended to 29 July 2026, 11:00 AM (PDT). All other terms and conditions remain the same.
