This water main project is proposed to replace the existing 6â water main along N Jackson St between Arlington Blvd & 4th St N, N Irving St between Arlington Blvd & 2nd Rd N and along Arlington Blvd between N Jackson St & N Highland St with a new 8â water main. The main scope of work includes the installation of approximately 4800 linear feet of 8â water main, approximately 1050 linear feet of 8â HDPE water main and 850 linear feet of 6â watermain with various appurtenances. The work also includes several water main connections to existing services or existing fire hydrants, 82 each of water service - taps, 35 each of water service re-taps, restoration of disturbed or damaged surfaces during construction and full depth pavement restoration of the excavated areas.
