Purpose of the Solicitation
The NYC Department for the Aging (NYC Aging) through grant funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Office of Lead Hazard Control and Healthy Homes, is seeking to expand the reach of NYC Aging’s existing programs that offer older adults the ability to age-in-place. Through the HUD Older Adults Home Modification Program (OAHMP) , one provider will serve at least 126 housing units, making residences safer and more accessible through a wide range of low-cost, high-impact home modifications and repairs. It is anticipated that one citywide contract will come out of this competitive Negotiated Acquisition (NA) solicitation. Only providers previously selected by NYC Aging and other qualified vendors that have expressed interest and are approved by the agency are eligible to apply to this solicitation. Responding providers should examine all NA solicitation documents for details about required elements of the program prior to submitting a proposal response to this solicitation. Proposed Term of the Contract It is anticipated that the term of the contract awarded from this solicitation will be for three (3) years, starting January 1, 2026 through March 31, 2028. Use of PASSPort PASSPort is a web-based system maintained by the City of New York to manage procurement. To submit a proposal to the upcoming solicitation, all vendors must create an account within the PASSPort system. If you have any technical questions or concerns about PASSPort, please submit an inquiry to the MOCS Service Desk.
